Vegan Cuts beauty box May 2014 | Review Update| Shanda G.

Hello my lovely blog readers! Happy Friday to you all. Well it's a full week into Summer vacation. Oh yea! I've been out of town for the past week. So I apologize for not getting a video up. I will as soon as I get back. Although I will continue to blog regularly. So, stick with me for more awesomeness! :-) Let's get into this Vegan Beauty Box. If you follow me on YouTube you'll know this is my first box. If you watched the video you know all the products were new to me.

First I want to talk about the Skinagain face lotion.  It is a light non scented formula, that is meant to help minimize and prevent signs of aging. It  does this  while being all natural, paraben, and cruelty free. I have been using this for the past two weeks and I have seen My hyperpigmentation lightened significantly. And if you follow me regularly you'll know I have constant acne flares to test this on. I also noticed no break out from it. Defiantly a plus in my book. Another thing this is a full sized product! Whoop! Whoop!

The next product is the sunscreen from Goddess Garden Organics. I received it in SPF 30. The product has a thick white consistency. I did have to rub it in quite a bit for it to disappear. Which is to be expected in this type of sunscreen. The performance of it was great. I tried it on my arms. It did a good job no sun burn here. I love the fact that it protect without all those chemicals

Above is the Sea Salt texturizing hair spray. It's from Sevi in the Blue Yarrow scent. This is an eco and vegan friendly product. Okay so how does it perform? I found that using it after washing it worked well and it held for a second day beautifully. It left my hair feeling soft, full of volume, and lightly scented.

Here I have the raw finishing powder by Gourmet Body Treats.  I have to admit I almost didn't give this a try. Because usually when I see a powder as white as these it doesn't look good. But, I was pleasantly surprised. It actually blended really well over my powder. The product is also cruelty free, fair trade, and organic. The ingredient list for this powder as out of this world! Check it out on their site here. .

The mascara is a strengthening and lengthening type. I received it in the color onyx. I found it does a good job of lengthening with out being clumpy. It also goes on and stays on without  raccoon eyes by the end of the day! Definitely, something to look into for anyone trying to avoid some of the ingredients found in conventional make up.

I also received a perfume in this box. It's by Tallulah Jane. I found this to be nice and light. It had a spicy scent that I couldn't place. I think it would be perfect for a night out where you want to get cozy.

The last product I want to talk about is the Lipgloss by Gabriel Color. I received the color caramel. This was a lovely color. This gloss is also a treatment that helps moisturize the lips.

That's it for this box. So, what do I think of Vegan Beauty Box? I think that it was well thought out with products that are well made and animal and planet friendly. If you are looking for Eco -friendly products you should defiantly check out vegan cuts. Let me know if you have any questions in the comments below.
