Bath and Body Works Coastal Cool Candle Collection |Summer 2014| Shanda G.

Hello to all my lovely fragrance lovers out there! I hope you all are doing fine on this Wednesday! Have any of you heard? Some of the new fall candles have come out! I decided to order some and I'll be showing you guys what I purchased in my next candle post. Whoop! Let's get excited!

Eucalyptus Mint & Waves
The description reads: Enjoy the ride of a lifetime with this lend of water flowers, eucalyptus and surf.
What it smelled like to me:  Cold Sniff- It smelled like mint and ocean salt and amen's cologne i just can't think of at the moment. When burning it throws mostly mint and that men's cologne scent.
Scent Strength: When burned this takes a while to fill room. After I'd say it was a light to medium throw.
Burn Quality: Great burn No soot or smoke. With a nice pool.
Final Thoughts: I think this candle is well suited for summer. It just speaks SUMMER at the beach. It would be a guest friendly scent for everyone. I also love the color of this Jar. DIY projects here I come.

Turquoise Waters
The description reads: It's a sure thing that this blend of sea spray, sunlight and beach grass will transport you to the Pacific Ocean's turquoise waters.
What it smelled like to me: It had a definite ocean water smell. With a bit of grass? It was another men's cologne type scent. I liked it. This was a bit lighter than Beach Day.
Scent Strength: Cold Sniff- this was a light scent before burning. When lit it has an excellent throw. It easily filled a medium sized room with no problem.
Burn Quality: This candle did get a bit sooty I have no idea why though. Although it did have a nice deep pool
Final Thoughts: I think this would a nice guest friendly scent. I love the scent and my boys love it because it's not to girly.

Beach Day
The description reads: Blissful beach days are in this blend of saltwater, lemon leaves and citrus musk.
What it smelled like to me:  It reminds me of a men's cologne. I could defiantly smell the citrus and the musk. But I couldn't detect the sea salt at all.
Scent Strength:  Cold sniff it was a medium scent. While burning this was strong  it easily filled up my spare room. I also burned it in my bedroom, which is a bit bigger, and it filled it quickly also.
Burn Quality:  It had a nice even burn with no smoke or soot. The wax pool was not very deep.
Final Thoughts: This is a great candle to burn in ahoys room it not feminine or sweet. It may be to strong for a quest room though.
