Bath and Body Works Hawaiian Scents | Candle Review Spring 2014 |Shanda G.

Yeaaa! It's Humpday almost through the week. I have something for you to get excited about. At least I hope so. As you know I love candles, hence the reason for me doing candle reviews! I want to do something special for you guys. Heck yea! For the whole month of July I'll have a giveaway each week on Wednesdays!  What do you think of that candle lovers? So stay tuned to the end of the post for details. Now let's talk about some candles!

I decided to try three of the eight available scents. I'll start with the Mango Dragonfruit.  The description on the otto states - Rare and refreshing dragon fruit is mixed with juicy island mango to create the ultimate tropical fruit blend. My first impression of this candle in it's cold state is mostly mango. I don't get much of the dragon fruit scent. Although the dragon fruit I tried recently wasn't strongly scented. It defiantly is a strong fruity scent.  I lit this in my kitchen and it filled the room up quickly. My kitchen is fairly small so that was easy for it to do. This is defiantly a summer scent. If you love mango this is one for you to try.

The next one is the Pineapple Palm Grass Candle. The description states, A fresh tropical fragrance inspired by the beautiful pineapple fields and exotic green foliage of the hawaiian islands. This candle  smells mostly of pineapple. In it's cold state I couldn't really catch any of the palm grass in it. When lit it filled up my bedroom. I loved this smell. It was in no way over powering. It was light and refreshing, sort of like a spritzer. I think this is a great scent to burn in the spring and summer.

The last candle I want to talk about is my favorite of the three. At first I didn't think this was going to be a good one. Because when I first smelled it, it was so light you had to nearly put your nose in it to smell anything. But when lit oh my burning candles it was awesome! It smelled so cool and refreshing. It had me wanting to by more of this one .The description states, be transported by a blend of sweet coconut milk, seawater and palm tree leaves inspired by Hawaii's beautiful Lanikai beach. I think they were pretty spot on with the description this time. I could smell the sea water and the earthy palm leaves. Which made this scent very clean with a touch of sweetness. I give this one a big thumbs up!

Other scents available in this line.
Hawaiian Hibiscus
Rainforest Sugarcane
Island Waters
Black Sands
Red Guava Lava

Well that's it for this post! I hope you enjoyed it. If you have tried any of the candles mentioned please tell me your thoughts on them in the comments. Please follow this blog for more post on candles and such.
